http://cgi.ebay.com/1934-Bufallo-li...c6894QQitemZ280358578324QQptZCoinsQ5fUSQ5f That link takes you to an ebay listing for a 1934 Bufallo (his spelling, not mine) Nickel that starts at $4999.00. The seller needs help on so many levels it would be hard to capture them all, but let's try: "Bufallo" is an incorrect spelling. Probably missing a lot of potential bidders who type in "Buffalo" Title calls it a "Bufallo liberty five cents..." Huh? In the "Item Specifics" box it says that is Uncertified and Circulated and has no mint mark, but at the beginning of the actual description it says MS-66 PCGS and indicates it's a 1934-D. If it is a "D" and it's graded MS-66 by PCGS, those are two pretty critical pieces of information! His photos stink...and based on the shadow it looks like it is NOT in a slab. He says, "This coin has not be certified as I collect coins and have not have time to get them all certified please use due dilgence." I wonder what THAT means? I would be interested to know what his ONLY 2 other ebay transactions involved. He IS a 100% positive seller however, so bid with confidence!

Um...yea... Well his feedback is from a salvaged 2005 ford focus which he bought for less than he is trying to pass this liberty 5 cent piece off for... Well I wonder what subra price guide he was using. as a '34-D MS66 is at $2,000 Coin World values. '14-D MS-66- $4,000 Coin World values....Obviously this coin is not ms66 or certified as the dark blob in the pucture does not look to be in a pcgs slab. I think anyone who bought this auction would be an idiot.

I wonder if all these lame prices listed are due to ebay offering people no listing fees for their first 2 auctions each month. I received such an email a month or so ago! Maybe these people hope to catch somebody innebriated on a Saturday night!

Sometimes I think that the sellers use these astronomical open bids with buy it now to get to the top in the new and improved ebay searches. Then they use make an offer, and accept a reasonable, more realistic amount. Then I think others are just plain goofy.

Goofy works for me, especially for this... "seller". Quote: According to the price guide this could be a valuable coin Ummm not "this" one!

Check out his roll of wheat pennies for only $25,000.00. He doesn't even claim it's unsearched, but it might contain a 1914 D.

He's selling a gold and ruby ring for a fraction of what he wants for a roll of Wheaties!
