Great find!   Looks like an earlier stage of the example listed on COC's. Errers and Varietys.

I agree with this being an earlier stage of CU-1c-1946S-02

Thanks E&V, ConHi, and Chase007 for your comments. Would this be something that COC would be interested in? They have the later die stage but did not know if they would also like this earlier die stage...
