I found out in the net about this token that (Out of an article found on the internet): "The first token that was actually deposited in a phone appeared in the 1890's. It was produced for the Sunset Telephone and Telegraph Company in California. The brass token bore the company name and the value, "Good for One Switch"." MADE IN SUN FRANCISCO CA (California). Reference: Kappen 2508.
My Questions are: A)Is this token from my coll' is this one that the article that I've found refers to? b)Is it the first one made of this company,or that there are other variations for this early token?
