Is the weight due to being circulated? 6.025 grams? Thanks.

I'd say yes. It's normally supposed to weigh 6.2 grams.

PCGS list the coin as 6.3 grams. Could well circulated drop the coin by .275 grams?

Coin stock could always be rolled too thin or too thick - the Mint wasn't going to toss wrong thickness rolls - that would cost them money as they rolled their own coin stock.

I once weighed a bunch of worn Barber quarters. Some had lost over 5% of their original weight. It's certainly possible that an SLQ could be worn down to 6.025 grams. Your coin looks genuine and original to me, just worn.

Are these specs and tolerances from the US mint for circulation coins? The reference doesn't mention the source of the data or what it covers.
