1956 Jefferson Nickel Black Beauty - Coin Community Forum

PlutonianFire Valued Member United States 120 Posts	Posted 04/16/2026 07:48 am I found this in a BU 1956 Jefferson nickel roll. Looks like a "Black Beauty" (AKE Sintered Planchet) due to improper annealing. They're more common in 1959 and 1958. Report this Post to the Staff
