I bought this one years ago only because I liked the toning and knew nothing about vams. Let me know where you think she should land?

I feel the markings on the cheek and the slight damage to IGWT on the reverse will hold it to 63.

the 80(O) coins are typically bold and sharp this one is below avg for strike. nice peripheral toning. surface preservation is on the lower end for the grade. luster appears to be broken on both sides
I'm at MS63+ as the toning would bump her a tad

I'd say MS-64 with nice eye appeal. Small O variety with some nice die clashes.

Interesting....would it have made a difference had I told you all that this coin was graded by ANACS? Backstory A few years ago, while doing some reading/research of/with old topics, I found one from about 10 years ago discussing how many members felt ANACS was tougher (or more accurate) on Morgans than PCGS or NGC. So, I began watching the Auction Houses looking for this older style holder (which they described in the topic) and really studying each coin and this one looked really good for a 62 I thought. Paid $127 all in back in Jan of 2025. Good deal or Not? Wondering if I should play the crack out game?  I think not. Anyhow thanks for all the responses and without further ado Here it is..........................  Good example of buy the coin and not the label, wouldn't you all say?

Marve remember that group of Morgans/Peace dollars numismatic student was posting and asking for grades....? Yep logo was on the bottom right on the slab when we were all off a point or 2 from what ANACS had them as. I'll say with this one most of the "marks" on the reverse fields are clash marks along with the obv. She does have 1 bag mark on the neck and 1 on cheek. Edited: like panzaldi said, I think the weak strike (breast feathers and hair curl above ear) may have/most likely held her down.
