Excellent, picking up more!
Personally, I do most of my CRH with a loop.
For two reasons:
A) I can manipulate changing the angle I'm looking at the coin. Sometimes, a slight angle (therefore, also a change of lighting) can reveal something which you may not see if only looking straight on with a scope. I often angle a coin slightly under the scope also, to see / photograph.
B) I'm sort of the opinion that, if I can't see it with a loop, it's not worth it to me to keep.
All that said, I've upgraded several times from a $19.00 scope to my current Elikliv EM4K. More than sufficient for my level of searching.

Very cool you got another of those boxes, look forward to seeing your finds! As for the scope, they don't even have mine listed for sale anymore but there are a pile of different ones out there. Just do a search on the bay or Amazon for "microscope camera" and several will come up. Congrats on the new baby!

This story just keeps getting better. I went back....again. Although I thought it was the final box last time, they had a few more and I was able to snag those. All in , I'm at $40 in the boxes and some loose rolls. Definitely the greatest score in my decade of CRH. Final counts.

Most look to be obw. several may have been tampered with at some point
10 rolls of circulated wheats (still need to open/search but looks to be 30's to 50's dates)
1 partial roll of steel pennies (labeled "lead coins" LOL)
54-D
60-P
60-P (NOT OBW but UNC)
63-P x 2
64-P x 5
64-D x 2
65-P x 3
66-P
67-P x 2
67-P x 1 (double tails but marked 67-P)
68-P x 2
68-S (Not OBW but Unc)
68-P x 2
69-D
70-D x 2
71-D x 2
71-S x 2
72-P x2
72-D x 2
73-P x 2
74-P x 4
75-P x 2
75-P (NOT OBW but UNC)
74-S x 2
75-P
79-P x 2
80-P
80-D x 4
83-D x 15
84-P x 9
Double Enders OBW unknown x 10

Maybe I will crack them open for errors or high MS coins someday but I hate to open them.. this was a KILLER HAUL!!! Definitely the most excitement I've had CRHing!

I would have a hard time not opening the 72P and 84P rolls.

**Edit - The rolls mentioned below were 1950's-D mixed not just 1958-D's**

This story isn't over quite yet. I had some time to go through the 10 rolls of circulated wheats I mentioned above this weekend. I was wrong.. they weren't just common dates from the 30's to 50's. For whatever reason whoever turned these in didn't sort them whatsoever. This is almost borderline unbelievable but I swear it's true! Here were my findings...

Individual coins I set aside and put in 2x2's (Mostly AG-F condition)
1909 P VDB
1912 P
1913 P
1919 D
1919 S
1920 S
1920 S
1921 P
1923 P
1929 S
1929 S
1930 D
1930 D
1935 D
1937 D
1937 D
1937 D
1937 D
1938 D
1939 S
1955 S AU/BU
1956 D AU/BU
1957 D AU/BU
1958 P AU/BU
1958 D BU

Re-sorted the circulated rolls
3 x 50's-D
2 x 40's P
1 x 40's/50's D/S
1 x 30's P
PARTIAL ROLL OF 46 - common teens/20's/30's P
PARTIAL ROLL OF 40 - 1943 steel cents
PARTIAL ROLL OF 45 - 1950's-P

I probably went a little crazy with the 2x2 (like did the 37-D's really need to be in a 2x2 LOL) but I wanted to remember this find. The ones I put in 2x2's had lower mintage so that's why I pulled several of those 30's dates out from the rolled coins to save separate. I hope you all enjoyed this story - I still can't believe it happened. The only thing that could make this even more sweet would be if I can pull some high MS or rare error coin if I ever open up the OBWs. I couldn't believe I found a 1909 VDB, with my luck in this haul I'm surprised it wasn't a 1909-S VDB!!
