I dug this today while water detecting, Do you think its a error or a molested coin. its definetly odd.

I too think it's post Mint damage. Sort of appears like someone attempted to use this coin as a washer or something that pressed the edges to look like that. Hopefully someone else here knows more.

at This point I'm thinking it was heated heads up on a fire the clad is seperating , kinda bubbled up
