$10-North-Africa
This is a recent pick up of mine, I do not do much with currency but it was not getting much attention on the bid board so I got it cheap

During WWII, emergency currency was issued for Hawaii and for troops in North Africa in case those areas were overrun by the Axis. Since they differed in design, any currency falling into enemy hands could be easily demonetized. Hawaii notes were issued in denominations of $1, $5, $10, and $20 and the seals were brown with small HAWAII overprint on the left and right side of the front and a large HAWAII overprint on the reverse. The North Africa notes were issued in denominations of $1, $5 and pictured is an example of the $10. The appearance of the North Africa notes was a bit more subtle, the only difference is the use of a yellow seal. All of the notes bear the Julian- Morgentheau signatures and are from three series- 1934, 1934A, and 1935A and were issued in 1942.

I dig it. Last one I saw at auction went for more than I could have bought it from a magazine, so needless to say, I want one.

Mine was cheaper! Almost 20 years ago I had some guy come in the store I was working at and spend one on cigarettes! I quickly took the two $5.00 versions off his hands as well as the two 1929 $5.00 brown seals!
