Well not a modern coin. I want this one because of it's unique history and because it correlates with my family history some how.

Truly unlimited funds?

I would have to own one of the 1913 Liberty nickels. Everyone has their price, even those two museums! With unlimited funds, I am sure I can meet it!

I would say the 1933 Double Eagle for a US coin.

If any coin in the world, I would pick the one used as my avatar which is the ZAR Single 9.

I would get the best example of the 1804 United States Silver Dollars,
( but only if it comes with a 1971 No S Proof Jefferson nickel otherwise, no deal! ).

Leave it to wheezy to pull a modern nickel into the mix.
