I like this one.

Lets see with those rim niks it will lower the grading to "aVF' some may even say "gF" not much between those two gardes.

Minus the rim nils it would be an easy VF.

I know nothing about Aussie coins, but that one sure is pretty! I love the colors. Now, this is really ignorant, but are all those marks scratches or are some die cracks? I can tell a die crack in hand now, but in photos (other than ultra close-ups) I can't. I sure would like to know more about Australian issues. Thanks for letting us look at your nice coin![:p]

Hi stephen420,

Glad you like the coin. It is actually an English coin, not Australian. Australia didn't have it's own coins until 1910, before that they used English coins.

The marks on the obverse side are all scratches, unfortunately.

Regards

Steve

Steve what about the soverigns? They well and truly pre date 1910. Our silver was then minted in 1910 on wards and then 1911 for the Penny and HP.

The farthing was never minted in Australia just in the UK, however they were used as currency here in OZ.
