i guess this simply boils down to a question as to how wide is normal. the column on the right side of the first bay away from lincoln, (on the designers intitials - side), the coilum seems to me to be particularly wide. the close ups are at the base ane the top. is this normail or is this column wider than normal. thanks

Looks normal for this year. The illusion is to make it look like extra columns are behind the one in the front. Kind of like 3-D. This happens in Bay #5 on the left edge and bay #7& 11 on right edge.

Because of your question I looked a little deeper about extra columns and not the usual ones on column #6 & #7. I was amazed how many there are that I may have missed listed on coppercoins.

So it looks like the ones found so far are on the 1991-1999 coins. So I will have to recheck to see if I missed any of these. I'm glad I saved the AU/BU coins from searching. Maybe I'll have one that I missed.

That's what is great about searching, there is ALWAYS something new or overlooked to go back and re-check for.....

Thanks again Coop, I did not know about these......
