Drool...
This is the last coin I need to finish my Memorials and this is just painful to see you. I just need to save up for a single purchase instead of a lot of smaller ones. By the way, nice coin.

Thanks penny_pincher...didn't really mean it to be "painful" to ya. Just sharing my collection with our CCF Members. Trust me, I drool over a lot CCF mem's coins. But I think it's cool that they share them with me..so I'm just passing it along.

Very nice 70-S Tom! Very few hits if any and the reverse is exceptional. I bet it's a lot nicer in hand, it's tough to capture the luster and beauty of these type of Memorials on camera. Too bad they are so under-appreciated...congrats!

Tom, Very sweet small date 70-S coin, classic PUP'S, some minor "bag marks or hits" on the Obverse. The Reverse is as mentioned exceptional and wish it was mine, LOL,How would you grade this coin? Thanks for sharing, Mike..

Well I thought wrong. After playing with the photo it truly is a small date.

Thanks all for the comments! Yes it is a small date. I had some problems with getting good detail with the poor strike in "Liberty" and the curl in the "9" for some reason.
Thanks Thad. You are spot on as always. A hit on the first Lincoln Mem step on the rev and a hit the S.E. rim of the obverse, and a few bag marks bag marks on the obv as morgans_dad pointed out. Hmmm...grade morgans_dad? When I had purchased it I thought it was a nice 62 slider. After getting it home and taking a closer look, I think it's a quality 3.
How 'bout you morgans_dad...how would you photo grade it?
Thad btw photo grading memorial's is very difficult...and underappreciated by too many a collector.
Thanks again, everyone.

Photograding is tough, but that coin looks every bit a 65 RED to me!
