I will be in Veil Colorado for Labor Day week for some outdoor relaxation and brews. Anyone know of any good coin shops or shows going on in the area?

Definatley worth driving down into Denver if your going to be so close.

Great shop there. L&I coins and stamps on W44th Ave

L&L Coins & Stamps
5500 W 44th Ave
Denver, CO 80212

Also on the other side of town is RMC

Rocky Mountain Coin
538 South Broadway
Denver, CO 80209

What do you collect?

Different shops are better than others for different collectors.

You could also go and take a peek at the Denver Mint while your there. In Denver it is right smack in the middle of downtown, you cant miss it. No issue to just wander in and poke around.

Denver is the way to go. If you go the other way, Teresa Mays of Grand Junction has closed down her very nice Main Street coin shop, and I don't know of any others in Mesa County.

I would sure like to see western Colorado get quality coin stores once again. I live in Delta, Colorado, and don't care to drive 600 miles round trip to visit a coin store.

I concentrate on high end lincolns, and varieties. However, I also collect AU Liberty nickels, Proof IHC, and Seated dimes. Will also look for 19th century type coins. I will be in Veil for a week doing some relaxing, golfing, and drinking microbrews. I may have a day to kill to make the 2 hour drive back to Denver to check out a store and perhaps the mint. Do you know what hours the mint is open to the public?

A tour reservation is not necessary for the gift shop but you might as well go on the tour if you are going to drive that far

Definitely check out Rocky Mountain Coin. They are the biggest store in Colorado. Been open 33 years and only 2 miles from the US Mint.
