COINAHOLIC Rest in Peace United States 1501 Posts	Posted 08/23/2009 2:03 pm I had just given up on that set figuring that they sold out the dollars and decided to sell the bicentennial set as a stand alone. I believe I saw the original talked about price in the $50.00 range, but that was prior to this set dropping off the radar screen. Morgans Dad Pillar of the Community United States 5606 Posts	Posted 08/23/2009 2:10 pm I believe I heard something like $55.00 for one of these guaranteed to be a challenge to obtain sets before the 50,000 sets are gone. In total $2,750,000, I can see why the Mint is losing money. I can only imagine how much people on E-Bay will be asking for the original U S Mint's set!! Report this Post to the Staff

If and when the release it I will try very hard to get one. We will see how that works out for me. Not that I would, but I can easily get five or six households involved. I just want one set for myself.
