Here's my VAM 1A (E clash) Morgan for which I paid $20. It had been harshly cleaned before I got it and had a screaming white overdipped color. Figuring I had little to lose, I performed some evil artificial re-toning () by exposing the coin to sulfur vapor. The new dark tone obviously does not un-do the cleaning damage but it does make for a more appealing coin IMO. It also seems to highlight the clashed E and makes it more visible.

VERY cool clashed E indeed! I am sure that it looks better than BLAST CLEANED!
