dbrablec Pillar of the Community United States 1944 Posts	Posted 09/21/2009 12:28 pm just when I thought I could be fairly sure about Machine Doubling, vs. DD, along come this coin. I believe I have a 1972P 1DO-008, as pictured on "coppercoins" website. the "E" in "WE" looks like it could be Machine Doubling, but the rest of the coin looks (to me) like the photo's at "coppercoins" website. this first image is a scan of the obverse. all the rest are photos taken through a microscope. help verifying is appreciated. It's either 1972P 1DO- 003 or 1972P 1DO-008 (IMHO), but regardless, it is a DDO and congratulations on a real nice find! Report this Post to the Staff
