The first two are the same coin right? If not they are from the same die. I liked the first image better for showing the TY better. Depends on how bad someone wants it for price. I would same them.

The first two are the same coin 1992 and the other one is a 1970-D. I am going to keep them. Can anyone give me an idea of value? Also on a scale of severity 1-10, 10 being most severe, where are these rated? Thanks much, John1

John - There is no specific strength at which these attain 'value' - it's a collector to collector thing. I personally wouldn't be interested in purchasing a die clash, but someone else might be. The whole test to value is whether there are people who want them, and how easy or difficult they are to find. I would say that clashes like these are somewhat difficult to find, so if you find a collector, you've found value.
As for what the value would be, pretty much whatever the collector who wants them would be willing to pay. Again, there is no hard and fast rule about these, and you won't find them in a price guide. I would personally think that for the time and effort in finding them, a collector who wants one and doesn't want to go through the same effort should be willing to pay $5-$10 to obtain one.

Hi John, great pics... The T & Y are very clear.. I would suggest maybe sending them in for verification.. If in fact those are actual letters then what you might have is a re-used planchet or something of the sort... If the company can recognise this then I would bet the value increases drammatically....

IMO, any clash that imparts clear readable lettering is quite desirable and the first two would fit the bill. The third one, not so much as it is a pretty standard clash with weak mushy lettering. I would agree with CC's value estimate, nice finds

RFB, I don't how to do an auction, never done one. And don't know how to mail it out without having to pay a lot for delivery confirmation or insurance, I thought it could be mailed with a regular first class stamp "42 cents" and that would be that. John1

You would have problems using a 42 cent stamp since First Class is 44 cents now

I am considering an auction for the '92 but I need to figure out the postage thing first. It may take a little time before I can do it though so please keep watching for it, thanks for your interest. John1
