Still working on my lighting issues with my coin photography. I think axial lighting will help it out a bunch. But here are a few crappy photos of my lusterous nickel I picked up about a month ago. The reverse has a really great strike for a Shield nickel I think. I love the die cracks and the Cud under the date on the obverse. Polishing this holder this week as well...looks like it was a Timex from the old commercials where they used to dig them out with a pocket knife in a parking lot.

I like seeing the evidence that the mint had trouble with die cracks and other issues, when they started making the new 5 cent coin. I see a Cud down there under the date and Machine Doubling. This is all normal from what I understand. It sure is a nice nickel.
