Poll Question
What is your favorite U.S. coin? If it's not listed, let me know, and I will include it.

If you put in the Indian head gold, I would vote for that. If you do not mean to include gold, just say so so I can vote for my #2 coin.

Well, I figured no large cents because all other coins are 20th C.

You are absolutley correct. I saw the title and secription, but didn't look at the catigory.
Given the parameters of staying 20th century then......
Probably the love/hate with any of the Walkers.
In high grade they are almost magical, but in lower grades they are pitiful

Don't see Franklin. You were in the money when I was younger if you got a good old Benjamin from Granny.

Personally, I prefer the 2 cents. But if we're talking moderns (as defined by the subtitle of this subforum) then I'd have to pic the Sacagawea dollar.

Ok well , I voted for the Lincoln Cent . I have spent almost 40 years as a collector of the Lincoln Cent , and as of yet I have not put together what could be considered the ultimate lincoln collection. The wheaties were not so tough , but the memorials now thats a tough coin to collect with any reasonable chance at a completely high grade set .

Walking Liberty is the most beautiful obverse, IMO. I prefer a St. Gaudens Double Eagle Reverse.
