I have this penny, and I have been having troubles
getting photos posted,so I'm going to describe this
the best I can.The edges come out further than the actual
penny, almost like a wagon wheel. It seems to been made this
way.Is this common for this year.I also have a 2000
Lincoln Cent that comes up in the middle as if pushed up
from the other side, but no scratches or marks to indicate
damage.what do you think?thanks.sn31.

The 1941 cent I cant say without pics,, I'm having trouble visualising it in my mind.

the 2000 cent ,, Its possible that the cent has trapped gas inside, most of the time these would be small bubbles that will overtime erupt and leave a hole exposing the zinc which then turns into an ugly ulcer of corroding zinc.

I have seen cents with larger bubbles of trapped gas, I cant say emphatically that this is what you have but its a possibility.

thanks for the input.I'm not real good when it
comes to description, but the 1941,it's like
the edges have not been trimmed off around the
cicle of the coin on both sides.sn31.

Perhaps excessive die pressure caused " finning" of the rims?
