I might throw up if I don't get one. . . .then again I may throw up if I do get one. I don't feel all that good about being one of the lucky 50k this time!

One less person to compete with. (as if that would really make a difference)

I will try to get one on line at 12:00 when they start taking orders. I don't know how long I will keep trying if the site is jammed. I already have all the coins included in this set but the price seems right considering what the Lincoln Commems are going for now. I'm not one to buy something just for the unique packaging but due to the 50K limit, this set should be getting a premuim.

What happens in ten days and where is the order page going to be?

Here's what the mint say's about the order limit; "To ensure the broadest and most fair access to the United States Mint Lincoln Coin and Chronicles Set, a limit of one (1) unit per household is in effect for this product during the first 30 days of its release. At the end of the initial 30-day period, and each 30-day period thereafter, the United States Mint will re-evaluate this limit and either extend, adjust or remove it".

After 30 days? I would be totally shocked if they did not sell out in 30 days. I do, however, reserve the right to be wrong.

the resale price of the lincoln proof in this thing along is enough to cover the entire package. Given that the issue price is 59 bucks and that lincoln proofs are selling for around 62-3 bucks raw on the bay.

Once again, I'll wait 2 to 3 years and pick up a set for half or less. They won't run out, they'll just mint more...then re-evaluate once the hype dies down.

They cannot just mint more. The limit of 50,000 is based on the unissued portion of the Lincoln dollars; which were legislated to be a limited mintage. Therefore, it would require Congressional action to make more than 50,000 sets. I won't say it cannot happen though.

Ok then, I will say it. 50,000 is it, there will not be any more minted, won't happen and I do not EVER see this set selling for $30
