Picked this up out of a bin at today's coin show. I think the decimal was in the wrong spot.

Did you actually pay 25 cents for it?!

I'm sure he was asking $25!

I value it around $15.

Very nice coin, maybe the dealer knew it was marked at that price and was just giving back to his customers. Not sure if you pointed it out to him or her about the price, but if he or she were wrong they would have let you have the coin for that price I would hope just to keep you as a customer. congrats on a nice coin at a great price.

Good purchase, I like putting early Lincolns like that away. Now if you could change that "s" to a "d" ...just kidding

Yes, 25 cents. I really didn't notice it until I got home.

I'll spend a few minutes looking through the bins and pull out any mint marked wheats from the teens, 20's & 30's, then just look at condition, if they are better than VG/Fine I'll usually take them and either upgrade my primary album or more likely upgrade the secondary album.

The dealer is usually working some on buying high end gold or silver, but he has these bins and other merchandise that is usually at bid. Unless a dealer has something I just have to have that day, I've stopped buying from the others.

I also got an AU 1878 7/8TF Morgan for $20 in the same transaction.

Maybe next time I'll spend some more time, still need 7 more, maybe they are laying in those bins.
