thanks for the correction. Anyone have any pics of the proof version? Does it have any special mint marks on it?

$90 dollars isn't bad, considering only about a year ago 56pounds was $115 USD.

the reason I said that is because you can sometimes find them on ebay for around 100.00 from sellers here in the US, thats why I replied about how much they cost when ordering straight from the mint in reply to the slip pickings and price on ebay comment above my reply

I saw those ones but I think the prices are a little steep for bullion. I can understand paying a little more over spot but this seems a bit excessive.

well you won't get any Britannia's under 30 bucks anywhere I have seen and usually they are closer to 40 or 50 bucks. If you are going to wait to find one at spot you will be waiting awhile to find someone that doesn't know anything about them and even then you will have to be the only one who knows about the sale

I got my Bulletin catalog from The Royal Mint today and I found something odd. On the website it lists the proof of this coin at 52.95 but if you order it through the mail it costs 46.04 anyone know why this is?

ya I got the same thing when I purchased from the internet site. Once I got to the purchasing section the price changed. Tell me Bryan1315, are you able to get back into your account, if you created an account on their site ?
Since I registered and bought mine, I haven't been able to reenter my account. And I never got a confirmation by e-mail of my registration nor my purchase. I sent an email asking about the problem, no answer yet.

My catalog that arrived recently lists the coin at £52.95 but on the rear page it does say prices can change due to fluctuations in raw materials.

laserpete, I just tried and well I can't log in either. Either I don't remember how I registered or my password or something else is wrong.
Kena, The catalog says 52.94 but the page you order from says 46.04. here is a scan of the ordering page with it highlighted
