I found a Gibraltar 2008 coin set on the market, coins are looking exactly like the British circulation coins, does anybody knows the mintage of the Gibraltar pounds?

I don't know the mintage figures, but British coins are circulated in Gibralter as well as the Gibralter coins themselves. You find a few in the UK, where they are not legal tender, but people don't care, they are worth the same, the same size n' all!

I've spotted mant 5 and 10 pence conis as well as Gibraltar 1 pound coins on the circulation specially in London. They're not legal tender but people don't care.

I have no idea of the mintage figures either. I live in a small village which is over a hour from London by train.

I have found the following Gibraltar coins in change:

1988 20 Pence
1993 1 Pound
2003 5 Pence
2004 1 Pound
2005 20 Pence
2005 10 Pence
