Like Wheezy said! Time to put an Ike set together! Who knows, you might have a couple of better types in there! 1976 Type 1, 1972 Type 2 or even a 1973! I pulled a '73 from circulation.

Is there a chance that one or more of those Ike's are the 40% silver issues?

Got 30 today, probably have collected 200 of them in the past month. I think I will try the old yard sale and price them @ 1.50 each. Someone is bound to buy them.

jokingjoker,

I hope you (and others) find more silver dollars at banks! I read two other posts, one with 2 Peace dollars, and another where a kid got 3 Morgans. It's happening all over, apparently!

As for the Ikes, what do you do with them? I hoarded them for a while, and now am wholeheartedly enjoying spending them in bulk. Nothing like dumping out a couple of plastic rolls of Ikes on the counter when buying something, or slapping down a couple at a bar!
