I was very closely watching the tracking information. But I didn't get the package. The next morning I called the PO that handle my area. The boss said a new employee was doing the route and asked me to call back next day, which is today. I went into the PO myself. The lady is off today. What the hell? The boss lady said she talked to her last night and she said she put it in the box.
Anyone has a picture of the package? Are there any clues on the package to give away what's inside? I am about going crazy here. I called the mint and they said they will do an invesitigation. What's can I do?

I understand you frustrations but you have little choice except to just wait it out. Return when they re-open and the supervisor is present. Only then can you figure out where your package went.
It wont help to puff up or make any mess until you know the details from the horses mouth.
Good luck and please do keep us posted.

Quote: The boss lady said she talked to her last night and she said she put it in the box. There is a delivery confirmation number. My box for the mint sets I ordered and my box for the Chronicles set are practically identical. They are both plain brown, about 2 and 1/4 inches deep, 6 inches wide and maybe 11 inches long. The label has 3 barcodes on it, there is a separate sticker barcode on the side and a striped pink and white sticker just over the shipping label. I would bet all the sets shipped with just one set inside or two mint sets look just like mine. I got an email from the mint with an Order #: 3316XXXX If you go to this page https://catalog.usmint.gov/webapp/w...userId=-1002Here you just enter the number and your last name. You will see if it was delivered by FedEx to your local PO If you track the same number such as 910290100134XXXXXXXXXX that now appears on the FedEx page here on the USPS.com site http://www.usps.com/shipping/tracka...ckandconfirmit will tell you the day and time it was delivered to your door.

i was in my yard the other day, when the "mailgirl" delivered a package, with a delivery confirmation address label. I saw her scan the package with a mobile scaner, before she placed it in the mailbox. I'm sure your carrier has a similar scanner. it should clearly come down to more than a "she said, he said" issue.

the only way that you could possibly be in trouble is if she put it in the wrong box, then you will be at the mercy of the neighbor being honest. I don't know how it would work since they don't demand a signature to prove you didn't receive the package. The only thing is these sets are sold out and if its lost you may get your money back but there will be no way to replace the set for the same amount of money so you will lose even if you win and get your money back because they will not give you replacement value they will give you what you paid

I was tracking the website very closely so I knew when it was arrived in my city and it was delivered at 2:53pm Oct. 28.
She did said to her boss that she put it into my box. My mail box is 4.5"x5.5"x20", with dianglar length of 7". So it should be pushed in. I knocked the door of one neighbor already and they said no. I did sometimes receive mail for this neighbour.
Now I have three more possible neighbors to ask.
I really don't know that I need more honest neighbor or more honest mail delivery lady.

Here's what the box looks like: It measures about 11" long by 3" thick and 6 1/2" wide. Good Luck!

P.S. From the dimensions you gave for your mailbox - it likely didn't fit. Even diagonal would be tough.

Ooh, she lied! This is the same size box used for Lincohn proof and 09 proof, which I ordered. I still have the old boxes. Before it was a male worker run the route and one package was left at front porch and the other was picked up in the PO with a slip. I must talk to the boss lady again and possibly the FBI. I can live with dishonest neighbor but not with dishonest mail delivery worker. If it is what look like, a dishonest mail delivery worker must be removed for the sake of our society.

I hope this gets back to you safely. I use to work for the USPS. Place emphasis on "use to".

While this is not the likely cause, it is certainly possible and has happened in the past. If you live in a "smaller" area, you could scour ebay for sets that are on sale and sold to see if someone from the area has sold one. Now if you're in Orange County California or somewhere large, that won't help much but in my small town it would be a lead.

Did you receive ANY mail on the day your set was allegedly delivered?
I'm thinking she delivered it to the wrong address. I just don't see a new employee risking her job over a single package with unknown contents. If she were to take a package, she would probably choose one that was not being tracked, or take a package where she knew its exact contents/value that wasn't being tracked.
How well do you know your neighbors? Are they the type to open a package that doesn't belong to them?

I did receive other mails on 28th but not the package. The package is way too big for my mailbox. All neighbors have the same mailbox in a large apt complex. If she said she put at my front porch, then I would worry about my new neighbors. But she said to her boss that she put it in the box. I gave the boss lady my tracking number so they knew what the box was referred to.
If the package box is threw away, there is no way to track the content to my order, right? Do you guys notice any serial number on the album?
