Another stupid question.....

American Silver Eagles come in three types. Proof, uncirculated or burnished, and bullion.

Proof (beautiful!), I understand. Uncirculated or burnished has a satin finish, and bullion looks like a typical uncirculated look.

Are my assumptions correct?

Also, the coin is 99.9 Ag. What is the 0.1%?

As I understand copper is added to make the silver harder and more durable. I think it helps keep it from tarnishing so fast.
