Can somebody please list some of the Lincoln Cent dates that have wear due to the dies and not the circulation. Thank you

Now that is a really tuff question. For one thing I'd bet every year of that series have had such coins. Maybe not in later years but I'm sure this was common in the past. I wonder if https://www.coppercoins.com could answer that one.

BadThad will soon chime in as he is the guy to ask. I can tell you that the 1925-S and 1925-D are known for their horrible dies. Most have terrible strikes and some mistake for wear. The 1924-D is another one known for this.

I've been trying to enter that site for about a year now from all possible browsers: always the same answer when I try to click on something. Lincoln-Wear-Dates?

I would also add... the 1927 and the 1927D are also known for bad strikes.

I suggest you buy the book "The Complete Guide to Lincoln Cents". It worth having in your collection.

There's many dates that are problems. Pretty much all the 1920's branch mint (S and D) coins are known for poor minting quality.
