Just wondering if any one has checked out https://www.lincolncent.com or has bought something there and what you thought of the site like prices and what you received? Thanks, John1

John,
Pretty sure that is Chuck of coppercoins.com's site; I have never ordered from him but you can be sure that you can trust Chuck!

Not sure if that is coppercoins but you may want to ask. I'm a bit pessimistic about any coin site where there is no photos or is it just my computer but the first page I looked at no photos were there. Not sure about the return policy but says all are returnable but nothing about postage being returnable. So if you purchase a coin, pay postage to you, send it back, pay postage again, your out postage twice. Of course I don't like ebay either.

It isn't only you Just Carl. I can't imagine buying a coin of any value sight unseen. Only a handful of coins on his website have images. In fact, right on the first page is a $179 coin (1909-S) with no picture. Ok, maybe one of the $4 pennies I'd take a risk on, but you have to be out of your mind to think I'd pony up nearly $200 based on a description!
The website is very simple, which makes me think this person isn't especially tech savvy. If he isn't good with digital photography, or doesn't have the time, he needs to pay someone to photograph the images for him. Similarly, when you have an internet based business it is not a good idea to skimp on your website, and his looks like it is from the mid-1990s. I don't mean to pick on him, its just that I'll bet anything that by trying to save money on the website he is costing himself more money in lost business.

Nice site, there are some very nice photos of the coins, 51 pages, it's an excellent place to be if Lincolns are your collections. I was looking for a 1951 Lincoln and saw it as item 768 with a nice pic, but it took me time perhaps the site can provide navigation or search buttons to easy find a lincoln by year? instead of one going through all pages? thanks for the site, it's a

I have read this topic and if I am reading into this correctly, this "site and the team behind it" are all that, and then some, believe me....

Well, then it is even more disappointing that they have done such a poor job on the Lincoln Cent website.

Again I don't think I'd ever, ever purchase a coin site unseen. I just went back and looked again. From a scan of many pages most do NOT have a photo of the coins. Maybe it's just me but to buy a coin in the hundreds of dollars, site unseen, makes little to no CENTS. If this is from coppercoins, it is really odd since he brags about taking thousands and thousands of pictures of Lincoln Cents. And he has a regualar web site. I'm sure there are people that do buy things without looking at them, but I'll never do that.

I think I have to take that back about that site NOT from coppercoins. I just went to https://www.coppercoins.com and went to the buy/sell section and that is the same web site that we are discussing. Now that is even odder since on his web site he notes he has now taken 13,977 photos of 2,392 varieties of Cents. And then on this site for sales, there are practically no photos. I know he is really busy, but that really makes little CENTS.
