Hello. How are you? I must be tired or something so, I apologize for a stupid clarification.

The 50 State & Territories Quarters. There are 4 to collect?

Proof Strike / Silver / San Francisco
Proof Strike / Cu-Ni Clad / San Fransisco
Business Strike / Cu-Ni Clad / Philadelphia
Business Strike / Cu-Ni Clad / Denver

Correct?

Thank you.

You might also add the satin finish coins which come only in mint sets for the '05 to date coins. These are both Philly and Denver.

Uncirculated Satin Finish Denver
Uncirculated Satin Finish Philadelphia

So that would have to make a total of SIX each !

Yes, but only from 2005 to 2008. 1999 to 2004 would have just the four.
Rest in Peace

All those State Quarters are a government trick, a scam. It is too bad they are not made of silver instead of of worthless junk and having a phony, sappy picture on the reverse. I don't know if anyone noticed, but the date is on the reverse. How many other U.S. coins have the date on the reverse? The answer: none. - coincrazed

Wrong there are a few others. I can think of four regular issues and there are several commemoratives.

Because of the reletively new special "Satin Finish" production mintages replacing the old Uncirculated Mint Sets (Biz. Strikes) , therefore making these completely different coins....I bet we start seeing ever rising prices of high MS graded ultra modern coinage.
These "MS" grades from circulation will be so much harder to get since they no longer come in a "Set" of high quality.....just "rolls" and "pocket change" are the only places we'll be able to get Business Strikes now. And looking through those to find rare high grade MS63 & MS65 quality won't be easy.....
Just pondering.

Yep. Correction noted. Except don't forget 2009 too. And perhaps this was what confused the author of this topic *- cmdrstp -*
Before 2005....just four.....after 2005....six to collect.
Guess I was just looking at the "as of right now" terms..... and with the last five years, as JB points out....
2009 Territorial Qtrs. there are SIX different ones to collect .....and actually for the rest of time probably too ! LoL......the ten year run of America the Beautiful Qtrs. will have SIX to collect as well....good grief !......"Death by Qtrs." is SOOOO true !
I have a feeling that there will be "SIX" each to collect for the rest of our lives with these ! ...

Then you should have said ....Yes, but only from 2005 to 2009
instead of....

Eaglefoot...."So that would have to make a total of SIX each !"
JB.... Yes, but only from 2005 to 2008"

"Six each didn't stop in 2008....it includes 2009 Territory Qtrs. and beyond !
Haw Haw....... ... ... ...

Good Grief ! ...... ........ I have entirely too much time on my hands !!.....
