I'd call it F-12, maybe F-15 on a good day. Nice coin!

I agree. F-12 Obverse, F-15 reverse. I like the capped bust series, and that one's got an attractive patina.

I'd guess VG10 on the obverse with the reverse being stronger at F12.

It looks very original and is closer to Fine than it to Very Good.

I bought it for eye appeal rather than grade. I see a lot that have higher grades but with problems. I figure on the eye appeal I'd value it at F-12 plus. I think it might get that as a grade but I liked the looks of it and that's what matters. Thanks guys.

Eye Appeal is sooooooo important. Even if it's just for you - after all, you're the one that will be looking at it for the next xxxx amount of time!

I really like the original Reverse.

Now Hows About You slice it in two and send me the Reverse - for 1/2 the price you paid, of course :)

Arrived today and I am pleased. These are my pictures with it in the 2x2. It is a little darker maybe in hand.

Hmmm - looks harshly cleaned to me with some kind of abrasive or rubbing - especially on the obverse.
