Hi everyone.

Could someone help me with a grade and valuation on this coin.

It also has writing around the rim which says
" XIII Commonwealth Games Scotland 1986"

Hi Steve

There were 3 different compositions of these KM# 947 which is a Nickel brass EF 4.50 Unc. 6.50 BU 10.00

KM#947a .500 silver Unc.15.00 BU 20.00

KM#947c .9170 Gold which should be a proof coin yours looks Like it is not a proof in the pic.although it has a gold appearance.

210.00

By the valueation standards the coin looks BU to me .

My garde with the mag marks and bumps would be aUNC

Thanks for your help Guys.

It is not gold or silver, so I'll go with the nickel brass. The picture does not do it justice, but I would say that it's not BU, so I'll go with the aUNC.
