I need some experts, with experience to grade this coin if they would. Thanks everyone!

hemisboats,

That's a very nice, original-looking Seated Half that would appear to be "problem-free" ... until I look closely at the rims. Make sure those haven't been filed. Some folks way back when would shave the rims and accumulate the residue. This was done extensively with gold but I've seen some seated half and dollar coins that were shaved.

I looked it over fairly well and it appears to be untouched around the rims. I got him down to $98.

Dave, what grade would you give this? Sellers thought it was xf. But I thought it was quite a bit better.

It could go AU-50 just on the details of the photo. $98 is a great deal. Get me one just like it while you at it.

btw ... be sure to weigh it outside the 2x2 holder. I weigh every Seated Half I buy.

Looks like a lock for EF-40 and possible for EF-45 if some luster remains. Miss Liberty does have close to AU detail but the visible wear on the stars, talons, arrowheads, and olive leaves would preclude an AU grade IMO. Nevertheless, it's a nice coin and the price was pretty good.

I presume those areas that look like rim bumps are artifacts from the coin being photographed in the 2X2 holder. When you take it out to check weight, take some new photos and post them if you can.
Rest in Peace

I'd say it's solid at 45, but I would want to see more luster for an AU-50.
