mine is graded 67 but even though the pictures are blurry a little, knowing how sharply most 79-S Morgans are struck and how allot of them were cared for I will say this one is probably a 64 (because the scratch on the cheek) and may be s high as a 66 but I am not comfortable saying that high with the pictures provided

Sorry about the pictures, I'm terrible at taking pictures.

I'll split the difference and say MS65.
You're having some issues with your light source and the color balance. Try lighting from above rather than the side or use another light on the right. Experimenting will eventually get you the results you're looking for.

Quote: Sorry about the pictures, I'm terrible at taking pictures. I wasn't complaining, it is just hard to grade a coin from pictures that are less than perfect because every little thing can affect the grade and if you can't see those little things in the picture it is impossible to give an accurate grade

My first guess was MS64 also.

The weakness in the hair should hold this one to 64. I could see it going 63 even; depending on how flashy (or not) it is in hand.

I feel safe saying that CAC would not sticker that coin. For a common date Morgan that is normally very well struck, that is a weak 65.
If it is your coin echizento, no offense intended!
