I was thinking AU-50, and was probably dipped at one point. It is hard to get a read on luster, but it could definnitely go higher if the luster is good in hand.
Looks EF-45 to AU-50 to me. Luster is muted or absent and appreciable wear seems to be present on breast, shield, and head on the obverse and talons, arrow feathers, and rim on the reverse.
I agree with Dave! The coin is so brilliant that it is difficult to see the ware in the liberty and some of the lettering but it is there. I'm not sure it reaches AU 55? A beautiful coin, real beautiful!
