First of all hi everyone. Last year I had found a 1995D that had clockwise doubling primarily in the are & you in "TRUST". While digging through some pennies that I had set aside last year I found this 1995P that looked odd and on a closer look it looks like it has the same doubling but counterclockwise. Wondering if I could get some opinions on what this is or if I just found some post mint damage.

Looks pretty interesting to me, especially the OD in GOD. Hoping that Coppercoins chimes in for the real expert opinion.

Sorry to hear that but good to know. Thanks for the letting me know, chalk it up to learning the hobby. I'm sure I'm not the first to think they found something to learn they got tricked. Must say I'm a little bummed.

But never the less the sorting will go on and my eyes will go out of focus as I look for my next gem. Thank you for helping me out.

What about the notch marks on the arr and ewe in trust? Thanks,
John1
P.S. Don't laugh at my spelling I used spell check after I spelled the letter are (are and arr) and the letter you (you and ewe)(:

The letters aren't thick enough for that 'notching' to be associated with a doubled die. Those are associated with die wear instead.

The letters are of normal shape and thickness...no doubled die.
