There is something a little different about this coin if you give it a second look, but the possible grade is what my question is. It is raw.

I haven't even scratched the surface. By the way, I am not a coin collector or a dealer. These are all a small part of an inheritance. I am just trying to learn a little bit about this stuff.

My first thought is F-15, but it may go VF-20. The color of the rim leads me to think it may have been overdipped, but it could just be the photo.

I would say it is a misaligned die as evident by the obverse being affected but not the reverse. I would call this coin F15. Nice color on this copper!

Good eye vermontensium, it is indeed a misaligned die.
That is what I meant by "There is something a little different about this coin if you give it a second look".

The die on the obverse was not lined up right "I think", The grade would go F-15.
