How many C&C sets did the mint ever create?

I know of the Lincoln (2009), Franklin (2006), and Marshall (2005 I think)sets.

Were there any others?

I am looking into getting the Franklin and Marshall, what is a reasonable price for these?

Thanks!

I am hoping to do the same thing. I have 2 Lincoln sets and last month picked up the Franklin set for $33.59, I think the shipping was free but would have to check. I have not started watching for ht Marshall set yet, But I want one. Also the Lewis and Clark ( coin and pouch ) set is similar. Another is the 1993 Jefferson set. it has a key nickel and a $2 note. 1997 has a coin and currency set with a Botanic gardens comm. dollar and another nickel, the nickel is even more rare than the 1994 from the Jefferson set. I am not sure if all these sets are what you are looking for .. but I like them. Oh the 1994 and 1997 will be higher because of the nickel.
I think in the future these will be high dollar sets, once modern commemorative coins become more of a must have item.

Here is a pic of my Franklin set, it came plastic wrapped but I had to open it.

Thanks for the replies so far.

Goldush58, some of those other sets are very nice and I might look into getting some of them. So as far as I know then there are only 3 coin and chronicles sets? I wonder if they will do anymore and how soon the next one might be?

If that is all you are looking for, then I think just the three.
Commemorative sets are all listed in the 2009 Red Book. Pages 325 - 329

This is a great topic, I do collect proof/mint sets and the coin and currency sets, I have the 1993 Thomas Jefferson set( dated 1994), also the 1997 you S Botanic Garden coin and currency set, the 1994 nickel last I checked in MS70 was $75.00 and the 1997 nickel, both in a matte finish, was going for $200.00, I did not know, or was not aware of the 2006-Franklin set or the 2005 Chief Justice John Marshall sets, I do believe the 3-sets mentioned above are the only "coin and chronicles sets", I could be wrong. There are a lot of the "coinage and currency sets".
Now I must seek out those sets and add them to the collection, good luck to all, Thanks again for the topic, Mike.....
