I've been building a Certified set of American Eagles in NGC MS69 and to day a few that I bought showed up in the mail. When I got to the last envelope I pulled out the paperwork and it said here's your 1986 American Eagle and when I unwrapped the coin here was a 1886 Morgan dollar graded MS65.

I sent the seller an email about the mistake and mailed back to Morgan to him a few minutes ago but gee that would have been an expensive mistake if I was a dishonest guy. The Morgan is worth 4X what the 86 American Eagle is.

Anyway, anybody can make a mistake.

I am sure the OP would have let the seller know that he sent the wrong coin and eventually it would have been traced to you. Good call on the honesty up front.

I think that was a great thing! I am a strong believer in God but I am also a strong believer in karma. I believe what comes around goes around and the Golden rule (I know I'm old and old --)! I hope this could be an example to some people who would not do the right thing, sleep easy my friend,....... sleep easy!
