I made a few more purchasing, and now focusing on certified gold coins. I've been trying to find a suitable means to combine certified and raw coins in a decent display in one album. This is my latest concoction.

It's funny, because I used to collect baseball cards with passion as a youngster, but never considered the usefullness of baseball card album pages for coins; BUT they work VERY well in holding PCGS NGC and ANACS coins! The fit is very tight on all but the older small anacs slabs; but it is a secure means of holding and displaying them. The Dansco album pages are much smaller than the average 3 ring binder; but easy to fit in with an additional hole punch. Since the pages are smaller, I've adopted a "staggered" means of inserting them, so when you open the album, you also see part of the second page behind the first. So to put all this explanation into pictures, this is what I have. I think it looks pretty decent, and I still have a lot of room for expansion.

I think it looks great! .. how long did it take you to acquire all those nice coins.
I wish I had done something like that when gold was cheaper.

That is a very nice set up. Lighthouse actually makes a nine pocket page for certified coins, I have never tried baseball card pages but I bet they fit tight.

Wow!! I knew you were building a huge Empire of GOLD coins but this is gorgeous and stupendous in its scale!! I love the look of all that gold!

Nice work Mr Johnny54321!!

I like the slab pockets! I never would have thought about baseball card holders.

thank you for all of the complements! It took me several years to get this far. And yes, I too wish I had started when gold was cheaper. Much of the larger pieces were purchased when gold was in the $800-$900 range, but some were purchased more recently(ouch). I am considering selling off some of the common stuff to help fund a certified draped bust half eagle in a VF ANACS slab, as I've come across a decent one at a decent price; but we'll see.

Wow great set. I'm still working on the normal 7070 pages, don't know if I'll get around to the gold page.
