At first glance it appears OK. There is a small scratch into the field off Liberty's right hand and the slightest amount of rub on the thigh. It could go from AU 58 to MS 61. Then I look at the reverse and I am less comfortable with the strike and overall appearance. It could just be from the photos, but the details of the motto and lower denticles appears soft. It also has a grainy appearance that makes me think "copy".
If this is in-hand, weigh it and verify 12.5 grams. If the weight is right and the grainy appearance is just in the photos, send it in for grading.
If a contemplated purchase, make sure the seller has a rock-solid return policy.

The coin look OK to me. It also looks like it has been cleaned I see some hiar line on teh surface. Detail looks to be AU-58.

this is the seventh or eighth time I purchased from this particular gentleman. Of the 40 or so coins I purchased I had one with a problem and he returned the coin with no problems or questions asked. Assuming it is original but would you value it at?

With the luster it looks like it could go MS62 but I think it's really a high AU coin. The obverse rub on the right leg shows up pretty well.
Very nice coin that I can't authenticate from the photos but it is worth a lot of money if genuine.

I think it is a MS coin, but definitely cleaned. Note the parellel hairlines to the left of Liberty. The weak part of the motto is strike weakness I believe. Still a beautiful coin.

I agree with echizento at AU-58 details/cleaned. It's beginning to retone, with a touch of rub on the breast and leg. Very nice coin overall!

I know his coins based on the look, holder, etc. Personally, I would be very wary of cleaning on the higher end ones. He very rarely mentions it in the auction even if its obvious. I've had to return a few coins due to cleaning, polishing etc so I don't deal with his high end stuff any more. So yeah, I would assume that any high end coin you get from him has some kind of problem. No hard feelings or anything, just my experience. On the flip side, you can get some deals on stuff ending at off times....especially lower end stuff. Just look carefully at the surfaces because those can be cleaned too, but its less frequent.

No problem. I'd also avoid his Buy it now sales unless you really want it and can get a good price considering what I said above....if it doesn't sell he usually puts it up for auction eventually.

I agree this is an AU-58 "slider" that has been cleaned to enhance the luster. I'm bothered by what look like vertical parallel scratches in the drapery just to the right of Liberty's right arm. This almost looks like a crude attempt to re-engrave the detail. It might just be digital artifacts from the photo.
The PCGS price guide gives a value of $275 in AU-55. I don't think this coin is worth that much since the PCGS values are generally high-retail for PCGS-slabbed coins without problems. In my opinion, because of the cleaning this coin should be valued lower than an original AU-55 example.
