Found this searching a brinks box this afternoon. I'm assuming its a slug/toy money. However it does weigh 2.5 grams. The rims are a little wider then a normal penny, but its diameter is slightly smaller. It is not magnetic either. Well just thought I would share. I've never seen any penny slugs like this in rolls before. Brinks needs to step up there quality control.

1. A piece of toy money would have to say COPY on it.
2. Most of these are plastic...not metal.
3. Nobody in their right mind would make counterfeit modern day Lincoln cents. NOT cost worthy at all.

I would have said this coin has been encased rather than a dryer. How can you tell the difference?

The rim is exceptionally thick and folded over on the peripheral devices along with exposed zinc, tell-tale signs of repeated tumbling in a commercial clothes dryer. An Encased Cent would look relatively normal except for a groove or crimp around the rim.
