DNA Pillar of the Community United States 2734 Posts	Posted 02/05/2010 11:14 am The wear on the left wheat ear drags this one (kicking and screaming) down to VF-35, but it should certainly get the little green CAC sticker for being a truly outstanding coin for that grade! If this one was in a local dealer's case, they'd probably be asking EF money for it, and I think it would sell pretty quickly. It is a beauty! Nice pickup, JimR! Knowing the 24-D is normally weakly struck I felt it would have a chance at XF. I will say it has the underlying luster still of an AU50-53 coin. I have many coins I have technically paid a premium for but I simply liked them and that is all that matters.
