Always the late starter, I've just discovered ebooks.
Does anyone know of any relating to coins?

There are very few numismatic books for Kindle. Hopefully more will come later. I downloaded one of those Kraus book to my Kindle from a CD. It took forever, but loaded. However, the print was too small on the Kindle to be useful. For some reason there seems to be no way to enlarge the font on material loaded from a computer.

Depending on your needs and what part of the world you're in, try google books and archive.org. If they are out of copyright, you can download the PDF files.

Thank you xshift. Archive.org is new to me, but not for much longer.

Has anyone come across an online version of the first edition of Eckhel (I can only find the 1831 edition...), or of Goltzius, Romanae et Graecae antiquitatis monumenta or C. Combe, Nummorum veterum populorum et urbium quo in Museo Gulielmi Hunter asservantur descriptio figures illustrata, London 1782?

I would be very grateful for any help!

I am not sure if by books you mean catalogs also but if you do, all Krause catalogs come in an ebook format these days.
