I just received my order for two boxes of penny wrappers that I got off of E-Bay that I paid just under $10. It turns out that it came from Samsclub.com. I checked that site and yes it is cheaper to order them right from sams, check it out.Type in coin wrappers in the search box.Just wanted to let you all know.

I, too, get wrappers from the bank. Most branches have them.

Hey John, I done the same thing as you did about 2 months ago. Mine came directly from Sams Club too. The seller makes about one to two dollars off each transaction. Live and learn I guess.

I've been buying bags of them from the Dollar Store. 36 rolls in a bag for $1. I like them new so they're crisp edges easier for my hands to fiddle with coins and filling the tubes. My fingers all point twisted sideways off the knuckles and holding things difficult, but crisp rolls are easier for people with gnarled arhritic.

I also discovered the dollar store had packages of those plastic rolls that you just fill with coins without having to count individually, and fold it closed. It has snap like male female parts to lock it closed. I just use them for counting though then slide the coins into the paper rolls. Saves TONS of time doing it this way. You only get 10 penny ones per $1 package.

The nice thing about the clear palstic ones too is that you get an easy comparison to others view to check the edges for size and colour differences or anything off with the edges without having to handle the coins while looking.

They're also good for storing coins I think. They have different sizes for different coins too. I buy them as keepers for myself, not to roll and give back to the bank though. I don't know about its plastic effects longterm on coins though. Short term I'm sure they're ok.
