Is it time for a new Silver Eagle design? I personally do. It's 23 years old and it's bland. It's the same thing over and over each year. Let's CHANGE the eagle design for each year. Let's use the past eagle designs starting from the U.S. Colonial, the 1792 patterns, through the present.

What? Like a Mexican sombrero like yours?Sure, maybe the shape of a burro. The Standing Liberty that is used is one of the most beautiful designs of coinage that has ever been.Change it every year would be like Canada.

No way. Unlike most US coins, it's beautiful.

I would agree it is time for a new design. Although the current design is beautiful, but I think its a bit drab. I guess its the fact the obverse design has been used for many years on the halves.

No! No! No!. Don't change the ASE. It is a very beautiful design. Changing it from year to year after it has been the same for so long is not a good idea.

I personally hate the reverse of this coin, but the obverse looks too good to change.

Do not change the ASE! It would be like changing the Mercedes Benz emblem.

The design on the American Silver Eagle is Ornate and Beautiful. I think the Dime is overdue for a design change.
