Die scratches are raised. You coin show some areas that appear raised but are really machine rolling of the stock. The line provided is at a different angle then the lines. So I'm not sure what you are showing.
here is an example of what I think I see on your coin.

Coop, I appreciate your reply.
The Line starts on the flat of the cent going up over Lincoln's head traveling all the way down to the flat of the cent to his tie.
I tried to increase the size of the photo but it distort's too bad.

I saw a member's post of a die scratch somewhere back, Does anyone remember where it was? also if you have a picture of a scratch, would be much appreciated.

Here are two examples from the same die that shows a die scratch (A marker for a variety) and a fading die scratch from a coin struck later by the same die. Note the rolling lines and how the scratch runs at a different angle. Die scratches are raised off the coin as the die has an incuse line in it. A coin scratch is sunk into the coin from damage the coin suffered a long the travels of it's life.
