In his non-OGP:

Portraitist Thomas E. Stephens' famous 1953 painting of Ike wearing his Augusta National Golf Club jacket, which hangs in the Trophy Room at ANGC. Stephens was well-known for his portraits of WWII figures-- some commissioned by the USMA -- and portrayed Ike multiple times, in civilian attire and in uniform. A 1955 Stephens portrait of Ike hangs in the National Portrait Gallery:

Stephens' 1947 rendering of Ike in uniform may be the most recognized painted image of the future President:

Nice photo. I am guessing that was taken during his presidency.

Looking a price graphs for Ike dollars, I wonder if there was a mania in 2000-2003?

The painting is dated 1953, so it's likely he was POTUS at that point after his unhappy stint at Columbia. The connection to ANGC is significant as several of its members, most notably Clifford Roberts, were the ones who finally convinced Ike to run.

There was a limited run of lithographs made from a photograph of the Stephen's portrait. I came across mine in a local estate auction and it hangs with my modest collection of Masters pin flags.

In Canada and the U.S. I mainly focus on circulating coins. I finally put my Ike's in holders then in a binder.

Stunning coins. Even though the 1973 Ikes were not circulating (only in the mint sets) it would aggravate me not to include them even if I was collecting only circulating issues.
