Full Brinks box - unopened until this morning.
ZERO COPPER
1 Wheat - 1919 - beat up.
8 rolls of WAM/CAMs to search.
7 - 1982 - all zinc.
11 - 2009s, type 1-3, all P mints.
No foreign.
How in the world do I end up with a full box of coin that has clearly been someone else's dump who is keeping copper as well. WOW.
I'm not sure I even want to bother searching the WAMS/CAMS.
Again - not one coin before 1982 other than the wheat that someone tossed out of their collection.

I don't understand how you can have a 1919 and then say you got Zero Copper cause thats 1 copper there

Ouch...bad luck I guess. Hopefully the next one will be 40% copper and 20 wheats to make up for it. :P

afcop, Thats pretty weird, I bought a box a week ago and there were only 12 cents above the 1982 date, no wheats and 1 complete roll of 1959's Odd, the coins were all placed in the roll the same (all heads up) (WEIRD)

Its weird. I decided to head to the local coin shop for some supplies and while there got a nice deal on a 1927s SLQ to upgrade over the one I currently have, so not a totally lost day.
Then hit McD's drive thru, and got 2 pennies back in change, 1960s and 1977d - so more copper from McD's than a full box today. LOL - just weird.

I know dude. It was a WEIRD box. Eventually I'll go sort thru the variations - maybe I'll get my first WAM or CAM.....that would make up for it.

Quote: How did my dump box end up in Florida Even better question... How did MY dump box from California get to John1 first...and then end up in Florida? Just remember one thing...You've only paid a penny for every cent you've found. Best of luck on your next box. Scott
